No. This service has been developed with a focus toward
protecting the privacy of consumers. We suggest you define
a "customer" as someone with whom you have an
established, ongoing business relationship. Your first use
of NAMA eMail Enhancement should be confined to
customers who are either active or have done business with
your company within the past 24 months. NAMA eMail
Enhancement is founded on the premise that you are marketing
to customers who already have a preexisting relationship

considered an established relationship.

What kind of steps will be taken to
address privacy issues?
There are three steps available to address privacy issues
and customer reactions:
- The NAMA eMail Enhancement marketing message
you send to your customers will include an opt-out provision.
With this, it will be easy for your customer to indicate
they do not wish to receive email communications from
your company. NAMA and our third party email deployment
service will handle all aspects of the opt-out process.
(For certain marketing campaigns, opt-in provisions may
be more appropriate.)
- A customer may contact you directly regarding the email
communication asking for additional information such as
"How do I get off your email list?" These inquiries
are more typical and should be addressed promptly. Your
customer service department should establish a "Customer-Care"
approach for your email campaign and your team should
be briefed on how to handle these types of questions.
- If you receive a more serious inquiry, such as a customer
asking how you got their email address, North American Mailing Associates
specifically requires these customers be directed to the
defined opt-out phone number or email address.
